Come on board the Blue Dolphin, with Captain Mark Anderson and Captain Michele Anderson, who invite you to see the “Real” Florida on a 2-hour water tour adventure in the amazing Port Canaveral, the second busiest cruise port in the United States, and on our beautiful Lagoons and estuaries teaming with wildlife!
Port Canaveral
During our daily Indian River Lagoon nature tour , we’ll slowly glide along the barge canal, which borders on the southern point of the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge. Here, we observe our favorite birds and possibly we’ll see soaring the endangered Bald Eagle. In addition to dolphin and manatees, you’ll see an amazing variety of birds, such as the Brown Pelican, the White Pelican, the majestic Great Blue Heron , the Snowy Egret, the White Ibis, the Osprey and and maybe even a wood stork , all on the very same river tour.
On a busy day our Space Coast boat tour might be rewarded with unparalleled views of some of the largest cruise ships in the world at the 2nd busiest cruise ship port in the country. Carnival Cruise Lines, Disney Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean International, & Norwegian Cruise Lines all have their largest ships which call Port Canaveral their home.
Many tourists and even our locals are discovering that the Blue Dolphin offers the best viewing of these magnificent ships. It’s amazing just how large these cruise ships are.
Perhaps you’re one of the many cruise ship passengers who may enjoy a boat tour on the Blue Dolphin on either your arrival or departure day. Brevard county is home to the largest concentration of manatees in the world. See the huge lovable manatees (”sea cows”) that are unique to our local waters on our amazing wildlife tour. Depending on the time of year, we may even see an alligator lurking in the water looking for it’s next meal, a sight appreciated by any nature tour enthusiast.
You’ll discover that the Blue Dolphin’s river tour is a wonderful way to experience the flora and fauna of Florida’s Space Coast. Seek out eagles, ospreys, many other birds, ’gators, dolphins and manatees. At the same time check out the cruise ships and Space Center from our amazing boat tour.
A unique and great family outing for All Seasons.
